On Brana despite inversion super conditions still hold. So already before the signpost I head directly to the summit. Steepness real, base unforgiving, mostly icy - right tool choice and strong legs required. Exit directly to the top at the cross. At top well above freezing and calm. Descent mostly same way to get more pump

Has anyone been up there this week?

On Sunday to Altar from Gozd Martuljek, through Kačji jezik. Up to Three larches dry or icy, further snow, not much. But conditions top-notch - super creaky snow. Also from notch to summit no issues. If no bad inversion it will probably stay like that for a while. So worth going there.
