The road to v Koncu is impassable for normal passenger vehicles a little before Žagana peč. Parking is possible right on this section.

They should repair it by this Friday.

Hello everyone, maybe you've already talked about this, and I apologize because I didn't notice it on the forum. Regarding the latest posts in the current conditions, I'm wondering if it's possible to go from the source of the Kamniška Bistrica further to the lower station for the cargo cable car? The path description says: "Recently, driving from the Hut in Kamniška Bistrica to the parking lot V Koncu is prohibited (traffic sign), this extends our path by almost an hour."
Thank you for your help. Lp, Ana

If I remember correctly, they mount this sign in winter and then driving is really prohibited. In spring at some point they usually remove this sign and then it's allowed to drive up to the cable car. If I remember correctly, a few weeks ago I saw a post that this sign has now already been removed for the summer season.

Hi,

I'm planning to take a colleague to the mountains and we were thinking about Grintovec, because neither of us has been there yet and it's the only one in the Kamnik Alps that has an easy marked path. She is physically fit, but has a bit of trouble if there's some extreme height, e.g. path on the edge of a sheer wall and similar "extremes".

I'm just wondering if Grintovec would be suitable, since in the pictures (the last part of the path below the summit) it maybe looks different than in reality.
I'm also wondering about Krn (from planina Kuhinja)-one part looks quite sheer and there are no cables.

Similarly with the pictures for Mala Mojstrovka; the path towards the summit looks very steep, as if you'll slide down to Trenta if you fall, but it's not like that when you're there.

Thanks and lp

Grintovec over the roof is suitable for people who don't like precipices, pitons, cables, so go boldly.

Hello

Is the path from Jezerska Kočna -> Grintovec still impassable?

Thank you for the answer.

It's not impassable, but it is closed. And it will probably stay that way.mrk pogled

On which part of the path was the rockfall?

This is a microlocation of a landslide.

In ideal weather via Frischauf route to Grintovec.

Path ok, except in the first hundred meters from the entrance to Frischauf's, where due to the last minor rockfall, rocks are strewn with scree and greater caution is needed, especially on descent.

Also this:
I know this is not the right address, but „dronomania“ is slowly becoming annoying.
Because photos on TikTok and other networks for the arrogant who think they are alone in the world are no longer interesting. And they have to show off with something better.
Mountain peace has been drowned out by the whining of drones.
