Hi, I don't know if some similar topic is already open, anyway.
Given that poles in the price range up to about 40 euros so far haven't lasted more than one season for me (twisting, failure of folding systems, entire lower tip coming off...), I'm wondering if it makes sense to spend more money on poles or if they are just consumable material? Now I'm eyeing some from BD for about 64 euros and wonder if the price is actually determined by quality? So far I've had Komperdell (failure of the folding-extending system), Outdoor Expert (they quickly twisted and then broke, some from Hervis (tips came off). I think those from the gas station (Hi-Tec) for 7 euros held up the best. What are your experiences? Will BD hold up or is it better to buy some for 30 euros again? Best regards, Aljaz
