In the near (maybe still this year) or not so near future (next year) I want to climb this via ferrata.
When reading comments and various descriptions I don't get proper information or can't extract an objective opinion. On one side lots of boasting and bragging, on the other quite a bit of exaggeration about difficulty and about some needed arm strength and about the (for some) notorious for others completely easy overhang etc.

In short, please for, if possible, as objective and realistic opinions as possible about the difficulty of this via ferrata or opinions on whether it is suitable for an adult man in early middle age, of average strength, who has climbed along cables and is used to "scrambling" on rocks smile.

As I mentioned I want to climb some (sport) via ferrata and have to start somewhere...

Thanks and best regards and safe steps.

@KLAN
True, how physically and mentally demanding the path is is relative, it depends on the individual. Absolutely, no path, especially in high mountains, is to be underestimated.
Kopiščar to Prisojnik is quite exposed in parts, not just the chimney, maybe the chimney is the least problematic. But as said, all is relative mežikanje. My opinion. If you have no experience and are not properly equipped and prepared, I advise against it.

Good luck.

No, to avoid misunderstanding, there was no judging anyone from my side, everyone should do what they want. Everyone is responsible for their actions (although consequences often affect others too).
My intent is always to express an opinion and that doesn't mean attacking, "foušarija", moralizing etc. but just an opinion. I've noticed several times that if you express your opinion here that someone doesn't like or disagrees with, you're really "attacked"...as if we should only praise, write as some want, sometimes be patronizing etc...
And something about cables and physics...true, physics is not my "strong side" but by some logic it seems to me that if everyone hung on the cable like that, some "service" would be needed much sooner than otherwise. But I don't agree that these cables are intended for that way of hanging, in other words "swinging".
In short, in certain environments, certain situations we behave accordingly. Such hanging (swinging) might really be innocent, fun and funny, but in my opinion inappropriate and unnecessary.

Best regards and good luck!

In this messing around, it's not so much about safety, the ladies are specifically clipped in with proper gear.
Regarding the behavior itself, completely inappropriate, this is not an amusement park and these cables are not meant for such hanging, hanging with full weight on the cables....sad, thoughtless. In the end, such antics loosen the cable sooner or later etc.
Absolutely nice that people are happy, playful, but one needs to know how to behave appropriately for the activity....in an adventure park it's not controversial, on a sports via ferrata completely inappropriate.

Good luck!

If you ask me, on the picture it's more an ultra mountain runner than a climber mežikanje

My opinion is that regarding use of via ferrata set there really is more room for "debate". Everyone equips as they think they should or don't need to nasmeh... hope based on experience, physical ability, psyche.
Regarding helmet no dilemma, under walls, in rocky terrain it's mandatory.
Don't know why you'd bash helmet into rock, if it happens, helmet at worst cushions the blow, if sweat runs down face equip with sweatbands, headband, cloth etc... Why would via ferrata set get caught on peg or rock? When not in use it's clipped to harness loops, when climbing you need to be fully concentrated and focused anyway.
True, accident never sleeps. Even the best equipped and prepared can have it happen... but that shouldn't be "excuse" not to equip properly.

Good luck!

How much is a moment against 30 years... true, practically nothing. But it can be fatal.
Helmet in high mountains is self-evident not only for kids but also for adults.

Good luck!

I'm quite often in those areas and there are always problems nasmeh
On weekends before six definitely.
During the week quite similar.
In September and October with nice weather similar.

But you can try your luck and maybe find some gap or someone returns from the tour just then and you get parking.
John26. 07. 2019 06:28:08
Yeah, that's it, #mountainslover. This is a proper post (with pics) nasmeh.
John25. 07. 2019 17:59:48
Well any info never hurts.
To avoid misunderstanding, I didn't start this debate to decide easier how to the Wall. I was decided on that very soon, no worries nasmeh But I'm interested in others' experiences, as said several times. If it's weird, annoying, superfluous... so be it.mežikanjenasmeh
John25. 07. 2019 17:19:18
Ok. So where's the problem Climber91? I'm just asking for experiences, gathering info, maybe I'll do it in another year or not anymore and based on the tone in your posts, I assume it bothers or annoys you somehow. I suggest you simply ignore.mežikanje In short, I want to hear only first-hand experiences. Good luck!

Dear #Climber91#, if you read my post carefully once again, you'll probably understand that I do not equate the Slovenian with any via ferrata.
By writing that via ferratas don't cause me problems, I wanted to say that moving in rocks and walls is not completely foreign to me... and yes, I am aware that the Slovenian route in the Wall is real climbing pleasure. That's why my question or desire for information, experiences etc.
John25. 07. 2019 09:52:54
Hello #taubi4#,

can you please write some more about the Slovenian route in the north Triglav face. For some time I have really wanted to "conquer" the north face via the Slovenian. I'm a mountaineer, the toughest ferratas in our mountains pose no problem for me, but the Slovenian in the north wall is a whole different story... most say.
When the idea of the Slovenian route occurred to me, I first read a lot of articles on the internet and other literature... and based on all that I read and saw, I'm in a dilemma. That it's very demanding orientationally is a fact. The "climbing" difficulty here has really different opinions... some tackle the route without rope or belay, others claim no wall without a guide who belays the critical parts etc. In short, I'm interested in your opinion regarding what's written or your more detailed experience that could benefit me. Thanks and good luck!

If you ask me... pure hell...mežikanje
John17. 06. 2019 14:49:49
Not sure. But it is still winter up there. Be very careful and absolutely well equipped.
John17. 06. 2019 11:49:38
Absolutely! No question about that. You better stay in a valley for a week or two. mežikanje
