@lijaneja hehe as I already wrote in the first message, thanks for all info! But there was a plan change, I meant to go Friday after work, but weather over KSA was so awful I changed my mind. Saturday morning though I went with more experienced acquaintance from Logar Valley to Ledinski vrh. Really, for my third two-thousander in winter conditions, simply fantastic! :-) Kamnik Saddle will wait a bit, at least till the end of this week if the weather is good. :-)

You have a solid debate in the thread, but I'd jump in with my question. Namely, on Saturday morning I'd visit the hut at Kamnik Saddle, weather forecast is OK, cooling forecast for Friday so snow cover will be more stable (read on http://www.hribi.net/novica/snezne_razmere_v_gorah_832017/2088 ), gear is crampons and ice axe. From comments and pics I assume you're more experienced old hands who know the mountains better, especially Kamnik Saddle area, and wonder if other dangers lurk, meaning snow avalanches from both peaks on the path from Pastirci to Kamniška hut? Thanks in advance for any reply and useful advice :P
