Hi, opening new thread, haven't seen anything about this adventure yet. Anyway. I'll try to describe a bit Alarm at 2am, when I just closed my eyes around 1am it rings already...my answer to that: NEEEEE PLEASE NOOO!!! Then somehow kick myself in the ass, take all gear and at 3 already starting towards Obertauern. From start still very sleepy but Red Bull saved everything. We did a nice loop around Obertauern; peaks went like this:
Gamskarlspitze (2411m)
Plattenspitze (2294m)
Hundskogel (2239m)
Seekarspitze (2350m)
Seekareck (2217m)
Then we had enough, 2 peaks left for another time. Really nice. If you have time and petrol/gas, I recommend

And who knows how to get as close as possible to Aljažev dom in Vrata the easiest way these days? With public transport you arrive in Mojstrana early enough but since I don't have a car it's long to Stenar and back from Mojstrana. 35km walking is already quite a torture and I also lose 2.5 hours. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, yeah sometimes a picture works out for me. Actually the plan was to test the expedition sleeping bag and that inflatable mattress, so into the snow. If the water hadn't miraculously vanished among the pines I'd be on the plateau below VMP.
There around 4am I caught Prisank's silhouette too, but if you don't view the pic in the dark it's hard to see. I'll attach it, let some more experienced say if it's worth anything

On 12.12 and 13.12 went to test winter sleeping bag. Wasn't cold, conditions top, only somewhere lost 1.5L water, happens. Conditions great, except below from hut to torrent sinking in between bushes. Shame only that phone has such shit camera, because stars and shooting stars were abnormally beautiful. Probably Mr. Knavs with his camera would capture all silhouettes much better. Wasn't cold.

Antifreeze hehe...there are two gas cartridges in the bivouac, so it'll be sortable. Really surprised me how nicely equipped it is. Bivouac in Kočna? Ugh, that's pretty well hidden too. May it stay that way

Yesterday evening my buddy and I went to sleep in the heart of Martuljek. It was freezing in Dnina anyway, snow from 2100m just enough not to mess with it. Although I was freezing madly at times, I'd repeat the experience. In the "enka" we left 3L of drinking
water and "a bit" restocked the first aid. Cool spot, peace and beautiful walls all around. Our fears (Czechs in the bivouac) didn't come true.

Big, small, long, wide, narrow, biggest or smallest, important it's Altar. Last year the class teacher told us size doesn't matter but technique. Come on, joke aside, we had a nice ascent with the girl up there. She went like a chamois.

A bit late, but better late than never...now I just need to convince dad to take me to Chamonix this year, I want to go to Mont Blanc too

No, not yet, I've still got 2 years of high school and 12 years of college to be "smart". FYI I've already had a bad one, I went flying with a snow slab avalanche down, Kačji jezik, 19.3.2019. I shit myself from fear. Didn't call mountain rescue for one simple reason. If I'm dumb enough to go up I can go down too. It was school. Since then if it's too much I turn around and study what terrain I'm pushing into. Anyway don't know where the problem is if I'm down in one piece. Last year we buried 3 mates who just didn't get down in one piece. One breathed his last on descent still in my arms, it was a fucking factory defect of the rope that half tore. Same, luck is indispensable in the mountains.

Oh, with plenty of experience no, I know exactly when to turn back, I believe I have worse stuff stored, and much more to experience, but if we go there we're both minors and the one who took me up alone knows what he's doing just like me

Otherwise I see you looove hiking hills and you're almost every other day in mountains and climb all sorts regardless of conditions, know everything pinpoint accurate. So I have real awe-respect for you, if I meet you sometime in Martuljek I'll turn right away and step aside, god forbid I see your look, from shame I'd crumble to nanoparticles
