Today I went on the path from the Dom in Iški Vintgar to the confluence of Zala and Iška, but returned along the bed of Iška.
Already at the start, I met quite a few hikers who told me that they had to turn back, as the path is impassable due to fallen trees. I didn't believe them and went to check anyway. Soon after fording the Iška and as the path climbs steeply, at the top I ran into a mass of fallen trees. It is not just a few trees, but by my estimate at least 50 trees down. With much effort, I pushed through this thicket anyway and I don't regret it, as a wonderful trip awaited me further on.
Otherwise, the path is in good condition, the cables are almost new, so I hope that the path markers of PD Krim will remove the trees soon. Until then, some notice that the path is impassable due to fallen trees would be very welcome.
