Bedančevs cat Rožle, who is as fearless as his master. Throughout the hike the hut can be observed, which on the picture is surrounded and looks really tiny compared to the huge mountain. View of the Matterhorn from the Schwarzsee station (2583 m). The path runs across the visible ridges. Easily accessible hut at a respectable elevation, offering modern toilets, with the kitchen serving home-style dishes. Somewhere halfway to the hut. The path is exemplarily well-maintained and suitable for any average hiker. Below the hut there are some metal steps and ropes providing better access and a sense of security. Batognica and approach direction. The path is very interesting and appropriately secured. Left Vrh nad Peski. Tre Cime from the summit of Sasso di Sesto. Signs below Locatelli Hut direct us to Auronzo Hut via another path. Waterfall View of the approach direction to the hut. Part of the path is visible, deep down in the valley Zermatt, to its right on the sunny plateau the Schwarzsee station. Špik, Škrlatica, Razor, Prisank, left of Razor behind a piece of Triglav, in front Škrbinjek, Veliki Kumleh, Kumlehova glava... Hut at Planina Kuhinja, good food and Kobariški struklji. Krnsko jezero embraced by surrounding peaks, Triglav in the background. The pastures are still lively and, as befits all kinds of herds, differences can be observed here too. Cinque Torri hut at the foot of the towers. View of Averau (right) and Nuvolau (left) mountains. Easy access to Nuvolau clearly visible. View of Cinque Torri, where we can observe brave and skilful climbers. View of Marmolada from the path Pordoi pass - Porta Vescovo. View of Monte Paterno and the traversed second half of the path from Locatelli Hut, which is on the left side of the photo. On the right part of the Tre Cime ridge. Path to Locatelli Hut (2405m) and Sasso di Sesto (2539m), rising left above it. On this path steep walls of Monte Paterno accompany us on the right. Lavaredo Hut (2344 m). Ojstrica Robanova planšarija - open in July and August Narrow-leaved butterwort. On the left half Breithorn (4164 m) and Mali Matterhorn (3883 m), the highest point in Europe reachable by cable car (Matterhorn Glacier Paradise). At the end of the village, we see the Matterhorn (4478 m) in the distance. A huge number of old small and larger wooden cottages are still preserved. Words of Primož Trubar, who is among those most deserving that we still exist. Highest point of Uršlja Gora or Plešivec In the middle Olševa, right Triglav, Košuta, Škrlatica, Obir, Peca; left of Olševa a small part of Krn was visible, then Ojstrica, Planjava, Grintovec from behind Raduha From Mojstrovke to Jalovec, under Mojstrovke Slemenova špica, under Jalovec Tamar. Final view of the slightly misty mountains above Planina Kuhinja. Lake in Lužnica. Batognica and Krn from Vrh nad Peski. Left above Krn Lake Lemež, behind it Vršič pass in background. Left of Vršič Mojstrovke, Jalovec, Mangrt, right of Vršič Prisojnik, Razor... Summit of Krn. Planina Zaprikaj, left of Planina Krasji vrh, highest peak of Polovnik, right steep grassy slope of Krnčica, background Kanin, Montaž... Towards the top, a view opens onto part of the path traversed. The mulatjera elegantly winds along the steep Krn slope. View of Kolovrat. Most of the path follows century-old mule tracks, which are still well visible in places, elsewhere their course can only be guessed from the path direction and bends. Morning view of Krn and Batognica. Hut and summit of Mount Nuvolau (2575 m). Due to easy access it is heavily visited. View of empty parking lots at the end of the day. The last bus leaves around 18:00. On nice long days the sense of time slips away and a young Israeli couple asked us for a ride to the lower parking lots. Auronzo Hut (2333m) and part of the wide path towards Lavaredo Hut. In the center the Monte Rosa massif (4634 m) reigns, which according to posts on Hribi.net is diligently, boldly and enthusiastically conquered also by Slovenian alpinists. Zermatt is a village where respect for the past is felt at every step. Old traditional cottages nicely complement modern buildings, where the use of natural materials is also present. Short history of the church of St. Ursula Church of St. Ursula, the highest situated Slovenian church, and mountain hut on Uršlja Gora On the left Peca, above the fog in the distance the Austrian three-thousanders rise. Behind Raduha, Olševa and Peca, the peaks of Kamniško-Savinjske and Julijske Alpe were nicely visible on the horizon. Below Ivarčko jezero, the larger settlements Ravne and Kotlje, behind Košenjak and Golica (Koralpe).
