Day trips with public transport are a pretty poor option. If at all, it makes sense to plan a multi-day tour and take advantage that you're not tied to a parking lot and can start and end at different locations. Of course such a tour will go past some hut, and lo and behold, precisely paths past huts are already the most crowded now.

Locals usually support such decisions, they don't care - if you've lived 40 years in Mojstrana, you've long ago walked all the nearby paths that would interest you.

Trobec, sadly this applies practically to all "protected" nature. First an ordinance is adopted to protect a certain area, then an educational/walking path is arranged and promotion starts, when visitors start coming, support infrastructure is also arranged, in the end due to some kind of "overburdening" access is limited and expensive parking fees and entrance fees are introduced. Often then the paths and infrastructure that don't bring profit stop being maintained, especially freely accessible walking paths. And we know who pockets the money in the end.

Triglavska Bistrica Path (https://www.hribi.net/izlet/koca_pri_pericniku_aljazev_dom_v_vratih_pot_triglavske_bistrice/1/242/350, https://kranjska-gora.si/aktivnosti/pot-triglavske-bistrice) has been completely neglected for the last few years, this year they "abolished" the last few sections and completely redirected visitors to the asphalted road.

The bus that should run every hour operates two months a year, only one month actually every hour, other days only at 5:00, 7:15, 9:15, and 12:15 (and 17:15 back).

So whoever wants to get to Vrata will have 2 options now:

- 2 hours walk on asphalt road
- Disneyland: amusement park tells you how to go to mountains, you just line up and wait (and pay for hut overnight, because with offered transport normal hiker can't do the whole tour in one day)
