Recreation in the natural environment is allowed within the region, so I see no problem.

We did this loop: Srednji vrh-Trupejevo poldne-Blekova planina-Vošca-Jureževa planina-Srednji vrh (15km, 5.5hrs, ca 1100/1200m elev). Tour crosses forest road Korensko sedlo-Železnica twice, so can return that way (if car there).

Sabotin is also a good choice for a circular route.
