Planina is really the "holy mountain" not only for Vrhnika people. Others also like to visit it. If you climb to it from Starga maln, it's quite a suitable ascent for building fitness. After about 300 meters from the hut the trail splits, straight goes to Planina a slightly gentler path past Lintverna, right steeply up over the ridge. This right trail is not marked and you have to notice it.
