Finally on Northern Velebit. From Zavižan we go along Premužić to Gromovača and return on the same path back to the botanical garden. Here we turn towards Veliki Zavižan, then descended to the botanical garden to the branch for Balinovac, climbed it and then along the path over Velika Kosa to the mountain hut on Zavižan. As VladoF already wrote, Premužić is masterfully laid out and worth visiting. Otherwise the whole trail is easy, only at the very end of the ascent to Gromovača you need to use hands a bit, and the descent from Balinovac towards Velika Kosa over rocky terrain, where at two places you also need to use hands a bit. Overall the trail took about 6 hours of walking plus stops at peaks.

In the Snežnik area itself no consequences were visible, while along the road from Delnice to Gornje Jelenje there were areas where practically no tree was without a broken top.

On Friday tour Platak-Snježnik-Guslica-Platak. Some small snow found only in shady spots and forest valleys but the path is completely dry. Altogether a bit more than 3h walking.

Does anyone have info where in Slovenia to get Gorski Kotar map (Risnjak, Snježnik)? Visited several shops in LJ already, scoured the 'whole' internet, nothing.
