The first Maya Maya items were really quality - probably sewn in Slovenia. Then once in the store I saw those cheap Chinese cartons full of clothes - since then I don't buy their items anymore. Though I know almost all known brands produce in China, quality must be first. Maya Maya owners totally missed with their sales policy and wasted good name, or imho the brand will soon fail.
