I bought La Sportiva Karakorum Pro GTX, took them home before the trip, looked at them a bit and saw that the eyelets for the laces are arranged sideways a bit here and there, in the leather above the rubber there was a small hole, the back heel part was straight on one boot and sideways on the other. For the trip I had to take the old Alpina, after return I complained in Igluja. There they made a report and after a week a new pair arrived, to my surprise even more messed up, on both boots on the leather heel part big hole and marks from some teeth. When I showed it to the saleswoman she immediately refunded the money and to my later question if it's a defect she said the importer says it's no defect. Then I took a display boot from the shelf and immediately saw new mess, namely the rubber on leather had a big bulge like a blister. I showed that too and got answer that I'm the only one who complained about La Sportiva. Out of three pairs all had defects! Now I'm wondering if La Sportiva is a crappy company or if here we sell defective goods or Slovenian buyer buys everything just to boast that he has fancy La Sportiva?
