Have you ever heard of the Spanish Bestard?
You get them in Koper and Ilirska Bistrica in Avantura Šport shops and if I'm not mistaken also in Annapurna in LJ.
I mean the model Adaptor, made in Spain and seems very high-quality. This model is as you mentioned, low at the heel and narrow.
