Today at 16.45 two crane flocks about 200 birds flew over Dobrovo (near Lj.) from southwest to northeast.

Nice and solitary. The paths around there are quite familiar to me. To Ožbolt you can turn right at the path intersection in picture no. 14. In that case, a kilometer or a bit more of asphalt awaits you. But if you turn at picture no. 20, you reach Ožbolt via a pleasant gravel (unmarked) path.

cranes are returning - today at half past two above Dobrovo (near Ljubljana) flock of usual size, flight direction: from southwest to northeast. Photo too poor for posting.

Indeed some can still be found, we could even say herald of spring, although yesterday on Pasja Ravan it was quite winter atmosphere - instead of snow, ivy whitened the ground and trees.

From Bohinj Saddle (Soriška planina) at weekends chairlift runs to Slatnik. From upper station to Možic almost flat path/trail. If knees allow, descend to Soriška planina on foot, if not by chairlift.

Speedy recovery!

Peaks above Soriška planina - maybe Možica? There was brnistra there a week ago just before full bloom.
