WDR TV presenter Dieter Könnes cycles the Ahr cycle path within three days and wants to know what it looks like three months after the flood. On the third and final day of his tour, he continues from Altenahr via Mayschoß, Walporzheim, Ahrweiler and Heimersheim to the Rhine estuary at Sinzig, the destination of the journey. How bad are the damages in the flood area? Is the Ahr cycle path even passable at all? What have the affected people experienced in the past weeks and months? And are tourists even welcome? A very emotional journey awaits him.
