I am awake around 7 a.m., but today we stay in bed until 8 a.m. Today we prepare our own breakfast again. Shortly after 9 a.m. we drive off. At 10.15 a.m. we are ready to go at the trailhead and start. Today's goal is Rockbound Lake. First on a comfortable path through the forest, over a few switchbacks we gain height. The forest becomes thinner and we see more and more of the surrounding rock walls. After almost 6.4 km a small path leads to a viewpoint over Silverton Creek below us.
