Departure on trail 37 from the Carbonin hamlet at 1440m, within the Natural Park of Dolomiti d'Ampezzo, to reach Prato Piazza at 2000m in the Dolomiti di Braies. Spectacular alpine meadow immersed in the greenery of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Natural Park, featuring the demanding climb to the summit cross (on trail 40) of Picco di Vallandro at the altitude of Malga Prato Piazza. From the starting trail 37 of Carbonin, a long and endless ascent to 2839m, with a total elevation gain of +1400m. Well-trained legs and well-managed pace, reaching the summit of Picco with an extraordinary 360° landscape of great visual impact.
