Description:
The Perwarth Castle was built in the 12th century. In 1212, the Perwarther family was first mentioned. They originated from the Zinsendorfer family. In 1410, the Perwarthers were involved in an inheritance dispute with the Wallseers, who destroyed and burned down the castles of the small Erlauftal, including Perwarth, in a punitive expedition.
