Description: Cerro Cortadera (at least identified as such by Andeshandbook, based on the Lliboutry map and the Nomenclatura Project) with its 3324 meters is a good day trip option near Santiago and little frequented. It is located just west of the entrance to Mina Los Bronces, in the valley of the estero San Francisco. Its route advances along its east face, through a trail that ascends south through a quebrada, then gaining height to reach the ridge, from which one must head north to reach its summit, which is marked by a wooden cross.
