Description:
Located in the cordón de Los Puntones, in Parque Andino Juncal (V region, Chile) and with 4237 m asl, Cerro Arriero Chico is a relatively accessible and beautiful alternative for ascent in that sector (with accesses via quebrada de Navarro and from Hornitos). Despite the above, there are few ascents to this cerro, which, added to the differences in the maps of the area, together with the low prominence of the summits of that ridge, makes it difficult to identify them (among which are Cerro Vigía and Cerro Parque Andino).
