Description: Somár is the highest peak of the southwestern part of the Little Carpathians with an elevation of 649 m a.s.l. It lies in the territory of the Záhorie military district.
The eastern part of the summit plateau is crossed by the red-marked Štefánikova magistrála in the direction from Bratislava to Pezinská Baba. The summit consists of a grassy plateau. In the past, this peak was covered with trees, of which only remnants are visible, now it is overgrown with tall grasses.
