Description:
We reach the 'Alpe Grina' location in Gorno (Bg) where we leave the cars just before the no-entry sign and take trail no. 263 to Bivacco Tellini. We pass 'Forcella Alta' (1440 m) and the snow becomes consistent, but we don't put on snowshoes until stopping at the panoramic bivouac. Then we head towards 'Bivacco Mistri' in the valley below the ridges of 'Cima di Grem'. The intact snow cover looks like white glaze on hillocks and rocky folds that amaze. Thus – easily – we reach the final saddle and turn left for the last challenging stretch that will take us to the summit (2049 m). But the wind has diligently swept it and without effort or danger we soon see the summit cross. Around which a dense group of enthusiasts is already gathering: is it for the 'March 8th' holiday?
