February 22, 2017. Reduced ranks of Sempreverdi for the winter 'climb' to Monte Frerone (2673 m). Good and supportive snow from the Bazena parking lot; however lacking thickness on the summit traverse, where the ice axe and crampons had little grip. For this reason today's ascent will be remembered as challenging. Elevation gain about 900 m. Hike duration: 6h15.
