Leave the car at the Lago di Valdurna parking lot in Val Sarentino. At the junction take the right asphalt road, the one closest to the lake shore. We reach near Obersthof and cross the road, climb a depression rich in mugo pines not yet covered by snow heading to the saddle before the summit, decide to follow the ridge to the summit cross and this is certainly the most scenic part of the whole excursion, fortunately the fog lets in some sun just as we are on the ridge up to the summit. The descent in the upper part today lacks visibility but overall a super trip in company!
