While the much-awaited snow is still desired, we go to Passo Tonale where fortunately we can already have fun on skis here.
Leave the car at the lift parking between Valle del Serodine and Valle dell'Albiolo. Climb the ski slope passing near Malga Valbiolo at 2244m, then keep to the left, overcome a short but steep section, then the valley continues more gently to the final stretch to the summit. We also conquer the summit after Cima Tonale but due to wind at altitude we prefer to descend, so return to Cima Tonale and descend the ascent route.
