Description: 06-08-2015: (Recordings made with Samsung HMX-H100P/EDS Video Camera) Cima delle Stellune (Lagorai) From Ponte Conseria cross the stream and follow the asphalt road to the third hairpin (can also shortcut following the marked trail No. 317). A few tens of meters after the third hairpin, take the trail to the left that leads into Val Sorda. Keeping level, the trail first runs alongside the stream on the right, then crosses it on a bridge (Ponte Quarelo). Now the path begins to climb the left side of the valley, first with quick switchbacks, then traversing east to emerge on the pastures of Malga Val Sorda II. Up to here the path has run through a fantastic spruce and larch forest. Past the malga, the trail steepens for about 100 meters then turns right to continue traversing east and leads to crossing, after crossing a streamlet and climbing a short slope, trail No. 318 coming from Passo Val Cion. Now turn left northbound, and reach the splendid lakes of Buse Basse or Laghi di Rocco (2135 m the first and 2193 m the second), from which both Forcella di Val Sorda and Cima delle Stellune are now visible. Reaching the saddle in about 2 hours from the car, turn right taking the trail that traversing level across the entire western slope of our peak leads to Forcella di Val Moena. Accompanying us on this stretch is the splendid view of Lago delle Stellune about 200 m below us. Past the saddle and heading east on trail No. 321 after a few meters, to the right, start the evident traces of the climbing trail that lead to the summit. At the beginning this trail runs on a very steep rocky slope and has some rather exposed sections. Therefore much attention and no vertigo are needed in the first stretch, but then the trail becomes easy again and comfortable and leads to the summit (about 3.30 hours) overcoming a last steeper but well-graded stretch. A metal cross with summit log awaits us and of course a wonderful panorama.
