Description: The Rosssteinnadel on Ross and Buchstein is a little gem and still doable for the 'normal mountaineer' if they like airy climbing in 3rd grade. The rock is very grippy and compact, protection with old pitons and interspersed cemented rappel rings is very good; if needed, you can even place slings or cams (hardcore alpinists free it anyway). Real climbers take at least the north wall or east edge (6a-6a+), but the 'normal route' is just fine pleasure climbing. The needle gets spicy for those who stretch a slackline across to Rossstein up top and highline 50m above ground—as some young students did today; hence a highline treat at the film's end (and an anachronism :-) 2010 instead of 2020).
