Description:
On the way for a change in a somewhat more comfortable, but all the more well-known cave of the Swabian Alb. The Gustav-Jakob Cave or 'Gustl' passes under the mountain nose of the Ruine Hofen and with over 400m length is the longest through-cave of the Swabian Alb. The cave outside the bat protection period from April 1 to September 30 is also accessible for smaller cavers without significant difficulties. Clothing that can get dirty, a helmet and several lamps are however mandatory even in this seemingly easy cave.
