Description:
Video of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the iconic peaks of the Dolomites located on the border between Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige in the municipalities of Auronzo di Cadore and Dobbiaco. They are 2,999 m (Cima Grande), 2,973 m (Cima Ovest) and 2,857 m (Cima Piccola) high. Located within the Tre Cime natural park, they are situated on a plateau, from which one can admire the surrounding peaks, such as the Paterno, the Sasso di Sesto, a fantastic viewpoint on the north face, the Torre di Toblin and the Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo. Nearby are the lakes of the piani, the Auronzo, Lavaredo and Locatelli-Innerkofler huts (Drei Zinnen Hütte) and the Langalm mountain pasture.
