Description:
The Hubertussee is a reservoir in a very remote area, the Dreispitz is a 1307 m high mountain south of it. Drive from Vienna on the south motorway over the Semmering, in Mürzzuschlag towards Neuberg and Mürzsteg, there right towards Frein and Lahnsattel into the Halltal. After the village of Halltal comes a left curve over a bridge, with a branch to the right towards Walstern, that's what the few houses by the Hubertussee are called (Walster is the stream). At the Gasthaus Wuchtlwirtin, which is not directly at the lake but about 0.75 km to the east, there is a fairly large parking lot.
