Description:
Circular traverse of the Ernio massif starting from the beautiful town of Alkiza. Through tracks and paths we reach Collado de Lizarbakarra (white borda and solitary ash tree) to then climb the final slopes leading to Erniozabal, first of the four summits we will crown. Then we descend through forest to the summit of Ubeltz. We descend again, first through grassy meadows then rock, to Aizpel (measurement hut on the summit). We only have to descend to the small refuge and the stone cross with healing rings to tackle the final rocky slope that leaves us at the summit of Ernio, highest point of the traverse.
