17-08-2021: At the gates of the Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi there is a natural gem known to few: Bus del Buson, a narrow and deep canyon, now dry, carved in remote times by the Ardo stream, which later abandoned this path lowering by about 150 meters. The fossil gorge extends for about 250 meters with a sinuous course and its smoothed walls testify to the ancient work of the waters. At some points its width is just a few meters, while in some stretches the rocky walls move apart leaving ample spaces.
