Ljubelj is an exceptional starting point for numerous tours in the central part of our longest mountain range. At the same time, it offers some wonderful options for family outings in unspoiled nature.

Probably the most beautiful path you can take offers hikers incredible views and runs across mighty scree fields, a tunnel carved into the rock, and beautiful forests to the mountaineers' oasis below the southern slopes of Begunjščica. For the entire path, you will need about an hour of moderate walking; the path is technically easy but narrow in places and can cause some problems for people with vertigo. Along the way, you will gain about 300 meters of elevation, so the path is easy in this respect as well. It is also suitable for your four-legged friend.
