Turska Gora is a very popular destination among all hikers who enjoy winter ascents on snowy and steep gullies. Turski Žleb is one of the more popular gullies here, it is not very demanding, but you still need the right equipment (ice axe (even better 2), crampons) that you know how to use. The ascent via Turski Žleb is also quite physically demanding and takes quite a bit of time and energy. But the reward is more than worth it: the sunlit slopes of Turska Gora and exceptional views towards the Ljubljana Basin, Notranjska, and Primorska.
