The mountain trail is demanding, characterized by rocks and scree (T3). From the Gandegg Hut, you enjoy an unusual view of the Matterhorn and, of course, the famous four-thousanders above Zermatt. My (shortened) ascent to the hut starts from the cable car station «Trockener Steg». You are in the mid-high mountains between 1600 and 3000 meters.
