Finally the 1st ski tour of this 2022/23 season! Always an ideal introductory tour to Gscheideggkogel from Hinterradmer. The ascent first follows the forest road from the last parking lot in Hinterradmer. The mighty Lugauer is a constant companion and towers this time over the vast sea of fog. After halfway, it goes over clearings and sparse forest; only the last height meters are above the tree line to the summit cross at 1788 m. A dreamlike 360° panorama unfolds before us from Admonter Reichenstein to the Hochtor group with Ödstein, Festkogel, Hochtor further to Stadelfeldschneid, Gsuchmauer, Lugauer and the Eisenerzer Alpen, Zeiritzkampel, Lahnerleitenspitze and Leobner, down to Paltental and to Ennstal. On a dream day with pleasant temperatures and calm, we enjoy our beautiful mountain world. Now good 800 descent height meters await us.
