A post from Bardo & Bikes showing their mixed-mode ascent (bike and hike) to Guglia Rossa reminded me that I hadn't yet climbed to the top of Aiguille Rouge. So I decided to use the bike too to go from Pian del Colle to the col below the summit, then finish on foot. Anyway, years ago I wanted to circle the Guglia Rossa col by bike, but got stuck at the end of the traverse rising from Lago di Thures, reaching a channel that seemed awkward to pass with the bike alongside. With this second attempt, I verified that the passage actually presents no difficulties and from there, shortly, I reached the col.
