Description:
In recent weeks, the theme of glaciers suffering due to climate change has become very popular. In the northern Cottian Alps, the glaciers are practically all extinct. Even the Ambin massif, above Salbertrand in Valle di Susa, boasted several glaciers. One of them, the Galambra glacier, around 1900 completely filled the wide basin at the foot of Truc Peyrous. Today there is nothing left.
