Description:
On skis from Ohlstadt to Heimgarten - a historic classic, nowadays a somewhat neglected tour. Ski-wise, from the summit down the first north slope to below Rauchköpfl is a treat, with luck still powder right up to Käseralm, the rest of the descent mainly on the forest road ... Because of the descent, people don't go up there much anymore today. Still: a beautiful tour. Lots of views in the upper half from Bärenfleckchütte, great summit panorama and overall a nice, easy way up the mountain. The descent slope requires good snow conditions and safety regarding avalanche situation, but shady as it is, has quite good powder guarantee.
