No secret tip and no solitary tour - but even on a sunny Sunday you don't meet too many hikers. If you - like us - bypass the toll road far before ascending to Wildenkaralm, you do many kilometers but it's super relaxed uphill (a Sunday stroll!). From Wildenkaralm cross slopes almost along summer path to 'Schnittlauchrinne' without losing height, then up in the back cirque and you're under the summit. Left out with skis up the slope, if impatient make ski depot above saddle at Burgstein and go straight to summit. - Descent to forest path under Wildenkaralm was still super on March 6th.
