Description:
I started the path to Košenjak (1522m) from Dravograd (24.3.2011) via Ojstrica (St. John the Baptist) to the mountain hut and then to the summit itself, which offers a beautiful view of Peca, Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Karavanke and even the Julian Alps (in good weather) with Triglav......the path mostly runs along the road, forest paths, across meadows with beautiful views towards Peca, Uršlja gora.....easy tour without major efforts, but quite long (from Dravograd to Košenjak summit = 4 hours), suitable for spring hikes and building fitness.......
