Description:
Hrubá Kačka (also called Hrubá Kečka) is the fifth highest peak in the Strážovské vrchy. At the summit there is a meadow with a summit stone, a shelter, and a bit south of the peak you will find a rock outcrop offering a view south to the Čičmianska valley. The surroundings of Hrubá Kačka are dotted with karst phenomena. Even on the summit itself, you can find rock formations called škrapy.
