The forested rocky hill Vlčinec proudly rises above the small village of Iliavka, a remote urban part of Ilava. The hill stands alone like a lone wolf, attracting hikers with its modest height and promise of enchanting views of the surrounding Strážovské vrchy peaks. At the foot of Vlčinec runs a marked tourist trail connecting Iliavka and Horná Poruba.
