Description:
Exciting hiking-mountaineering route first opened by Oskar Brambilla in 1998. Louisiana winds above the Serra Oseli ridges. We are on the right bank of Codula di Luna in the Supramonte di Urzulei. The ridges, thin and sharp with several pointed bumps, appear at first glance almost impossible to traverse without resorting to mountaineering techniques at every step. However, while not to be underestimated, the progression, never trivial, consists of climbs (2nd, 3rd and perhaps in some rare cases 4th grade) and downclimbs that require a lot of attention but are accessible to those with some familiarity with rock, all interspersed with some rope descents (rappels up to 20 m). In some cases the ridge narrows to just a few cm. The route is not really suitable for those who suffer from heights on exposed sections.
