S'Istrada Longa and Su Marinau are two airy ledges in the walls of the right bank respectively of Bacu Addas and Bacu su Orruargiu, in the heart of Baunei Supramonte. They can be linked in one excursion and both traversable without any technical gear except a bit of courage in the backpack. The hike is quite tiring with its 750m elevation needed to return uphill after traversing them. The itinerary unfolds in intact, extremely wild nature of unique beauty culminating with the view of a natural arch approaching 100m height boasting to be Sardinia's largest. It is the arch of Su Orruargiu connecting two gorges reachable by easy hike along Bacu Urutzò bed. Surely one of Sardinia's most beautiful, fascinating and adrenaline paths.
