Every time I drive from Predel Pass towards Bovec, I am overwhelmed by the majesty of Kluže Fortress, but even more by the incredible nature in this part of the Koritnica Valley. The narrowest part of the mighty Koritnica gorges is also called Bovška vrata. This section of the path has been an extremely important strategic point since time immemorial.
