Description:
High above the town looms this wonderfully restored and extremely well-maintained ruin of the former fortress.
The castle is first mentioned in a document in 1252 during the battles with Hungarian soldiers of King Béla IV. His troops besieged and captured the fortress both in 1246 and 1254.
