Starting point:
St. Ulrich am Pillersee. Parking options at the beginning of Lindtalstraße, 847 m.
Across the flat meadow into the forest and on Lindtalstraße to Lindtalalm. Uphill in open terrain, then again through forest, the switchbacks of the forest road can be shortened with sufficient snow. From about 1250 m open slopes again, depending on snow conditions left or right of the gully to Winterstelleralm. With little snow stay on the forest road. Continue to the flat saddle and left (south) past a cross to the summit slope of Wallerberg. Steeply up this to the highest point. With uncertain snow conditions on the summit slope, one can swing out right and ascend to the saddle between point 1658 and Wallerberg and over the short ridge spur left to the summit.
